Michael J. Forster: Forty-eight years of experience in the construction industry. The first ten years of experience was obtained while employed by The John W. Cowper Co. Inc. where he quickly advanced from a field engineer, to superintendent, to project manager and construction manager.

In 1985 Michael Forster started Forster Construction Management and for twenty years provided private construction consulting and management services for some very notable projects. Mr. Forster’s clients called upon him for numerous repeat projects and he became an integral part of many of his client’s decision-making processes.

Commonwealth of Dominica Ports Rehabilitation Projects
Forster Construction Services (FCS) provided Construction Services to CarMar Caribbean Group Corp. for the repair and rehabilitation of three ports, The Woodbridge Port, Portsmouth Port and the Port at Cabrits. FCS’s services included the development of repair procedures, operation logistics along with value engineering and material procurement. Working with the Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority and with direct meetings with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, FCS’s participation resulted in the solving of access, logistic and budget issues to allow for the complete restoration when three previous attempts by companies failed over the past two decades. FCS developed a team which included, Gemite Products Inc. of Canada; Versa Dock International, UK, Simpson Strong-Tie FX70 Pile repair, Texas; and Carubba Engineering of New Orleans.
The project was recognized for Excellence in the Repair of Special Projects by the International Concrete Repair Institute (CRI) with an Award of Merit presented to Forster Construction Services, LLC at CRI’s November 16, 2017 convention.
